We understand your pets are family!! All dogs enrolled in board and train programs will train in the comfort of our home in Durham, CT. Say goodbye to worrying about how your dog will do in a noisy kennel or a facility, we want to minimize your dog's stress levels to optimize learning!

Quality of work is of the utmost importance to us. We only accept 1-2 dogs into our board and train program at a time to allow us to provide both an intimate and individualized experience for both you and your dog! It is a privilege to be entrusted with your pets and want to give them an experience that feels "close to home."

Our relationship-based training approach focuses on clear communication. We want to ensure that our yes (and no) are clearly understood by our pets while understanding how they are communicating to us. Our holistic approach focuses on a healthy balance of work, rest, structure and freedom which will vary from dog to dog. Every dog and owner will have different needs, goals and limitations. We work with you to create appropriate expectations for your specific living situation as well as long term goals to be successful long term!
All board and trains are integrated into our daily life, including but not limited to: daily trips to stores, playgrounds, coffee shops, hikes, farmers markets, visits from friends/ family, ringing doorbells, UPS and Amazon deliveries, etc. This is to ensure your dog is ready to tackle real-life experiences and will have a smooth transition once they are back home.
